We had to wait maybe 10 minutes for our food. I had the french onion soup with a maison salad pick 2 menu. My husband had the gorgonzola and spinach ravioli with a greek salad. Both our meals were excellent, very fresh ingredients, served with crusty french bread. I always forget about this place for some reason, maybe since it tucked back in the side of a strip mall and you don't notice it?

Plenty of good sounding breakfast and lunch items on the menu. With a variety of omelettes and other breakfast foods, La Tartine is sure to please. The omelettes are cooked to perfection no browning but well set and the breakfast comes with a choice of fruit, potatoes or bread you pick 2. The omelettes are ample, being made with three eggs, and the filling is most generous. The roll is amazing--crispy and crumby on the outside and soft in the middle just as French bread should be.

Service is excellent and the atmosphere is pleasant.

One of our favorite places for breakfast. Excellent lunch today at La Tartine!

We had never been here before and decided to give it a try 'cause I had coupon, which, by the way, I forgot to use. Anyway, I had escargot imagine that! Very nicely seasoned, accompanied by crust bread. Great menu - breakfast and lunch only - order at the counter and they deliver to the table - we will be back to try other items. We thinking of visiting one morning to try the breakfast there, too!

I read all 16 reviews before coming and opened my mind for what was to come. Upon entering I was looking for French ambiance, none, but we were pleasantly greeted by several staffers. There were 18 diners there including us with many empty tables for a late Sunday lunch 1pm. The restaurant appeared clean, almost institutional in appearance. You pay and tip in advance if paying by credit card. The service was fast, good, and professional which negated the risk of over tipping.

The french onion soup was a very big hit, as was the mushroom soup. The quiche was served without the flaky crust you'd expect to get in European or American venues. It tasted okay but not great, lacking in texture and flavor.

The roll was good, warm, crusty on the outside, and freshly soft on the inside, as you'd get at many restaurants. The other dishes served to us were very good, french toast, french dip, and etc. I think the biggest need for this restaurant, being a French bistro, is the French warmth and ambiance for the French experience. I would come back. Own or manage this property?
